My first design

This post is kind of special for me, because today I share with you photos of my first design. Actually, it exists thanks to my mum, who has made this dress. I feel very glad that we managed to do it, which only convinced me that the best way to get the clothes you want (and you cannot get them anywhere) is to design them by yourself.. and sew with a help from your mum :P There are many advantages of designing clothes: you won't meet anybody else wearing the same thing and you can pick the material and color that you like the most. I have already many other ideas for new dresses and skirts and I can't wait to make all of them. Of course, also with a big help from my mum!

Jak już wspomniałam w poprzednim poście, dzisiaj podzielę się z Wami zdjęciami w moim pierwszym projekcie! :) Jest to sukienka, czyli moja ulubiona część ubioru, a w zrealizowaniu tego projektu bardzo pomogła mi moja mama, która uszyła tą sukienkę.

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z efektu, co przekonało mnie do tego, że projektowanie ubrań i szycie ich "samemu" jest świetną alternatywą dla normalnych zakupów. Poza pewnością, że nie spotkamy nikogo noszącego to samo co my, zyskujemy także możliwość wyboru swojego ulubionego koloru i  materiału. 

Czekam na Wasze komentarze - jestem bardzo ciekawa, co Wy sądzicie o sukience! :) ..Ja tymczasem zabieram się za realizację kolejnych pomysłów, a następnym z nich będzie dla odmiany spódnica.

A casual day

This is one of casual and comfortable outfits I wear when I go to university. Speaking of which, the exams are so close and I just can't start studying. How to overcome the laziness? My methods (mainly watching movies and eating) aren't really working. Today I'll add only this short post with a few photos, but I've already prepared another outfit, very important for me, because it contains my first design. The first design - could you imagine how excited I am about it? ;) I can't wait to show you effects of my work.

Stylizacja przedstawiona w tym poście to mój typowy strój do pracy, czy na uczelnię. A co do uczelni, czy może też macie ten problem co ja, a mianowicie egzaminy? Już samo to słowo brzmi okropnie, na jego dźwięk uciekam jak najdalej od książek i starając się o nich zapomnieć oglądam duże ilości filmów. Odrywając się od nich na chwilę, dodaję ten krótki post, ale... na weekend przygotowałam już coś specjalnego, czyli mój pierwszy projekt! ;) Ogromnie się cieszę, że w końcu udało mi się przelać swój pomysł na papier, no a potem na materiał i wyszło całkiem nieźle. Już nie mogę się doczekać, aż pokażę Wam zdjęcia! (aha, no i aż je zrobię;P )

Houndstooth and red

Today I'm wearing a trend which has already came back so many times that we can't even count it: a houndstooth pattern. Many people think it's very elegant and cannot be worn in casual outfits. I don't think so, that's why I show you a way to wear it casually.

W tej stylizacji użyłam wzoru, który powracał do mody tak wiele razy, że nie sposób nawet tego policzyć - pepitki. Wiele osób uważa, że wzór ten wygląda zbyt elegancko, aby ubierać go w codziennych stylizacjach. Ja jednak postanowiłam ubrać go w stylizacji idealnej na spacer, czy też spotkanie ze znajomymi.

Paul van Dyk - If you want my love

Oh, it looks like January will be a busy month, I  have almost 10 exams at the University and what's even worst they start tommorow (shouldn't I be studying now? :P).
If you have the same problem, I wish you a lot of luck and I hope you survive the examination session!
And some photos with my last outfits... It contains one of my favourite things - a skater skirt. I like skater skirts so much, because they are very comfortable and at the same time they look good almost with everything.

Some time ago I heard one of my favourite songs from my childhood  ("Girls just want to have fun" by Cyndi Lauper)...and from then on, I cannot stop listening it :)

Okay, now the other part of the post - the outfit.
It's already the last part of photos that we took during our stay in Wroclaw.
This outfit is rather casual, but the combination of colors makes it look quite interesting.

Although we are already back at home, I have a lot of photos with different outfits from Wroclaw, so from now I will be adding this pictures on the blog :)
This outfit is composed of Candy shirt from StaffByMaff, Topshop bodycon skirt, River Island wedges and a cardigan embellished by me some days ago.
